Lumens is a zebra living in New Appleoosa (more on this much later in the story) and works in the clinic/hospital designing zebra glyph and runed powered prosthetics. She's outgoing and not very shy around ponies, having grown up with a trade caravan that was operated by them. When one of the salvaging parties in Xero's village found the remains of the caravan, only Lumens was found alive. The rest had been eaten by bloodwings. The salvage team (consisting of only Gibs and Maze) brought her back to the village in the Outlands where she earned her glyph mark by [spoilers]. About six years after Xero vanished, she decided to travel to the central Equestrian wasteland, taking up residence in New Appleoosa.
