Tesla's Custom Pistol

She grabbed the other saddlebag in her mouth and dumped it onto the mattress too. This one was in much better condition than the previous, as were its contents. At least twenty magical spark batteries, a few various repair tools, and a very strange looking magical energy pistol. The 'body' of the gun was a hoof wide and just as tall, and about three hooves in length. It was very boxy in construction, with a mouth grip coming protruding out the left side of it. There were multiple tubes and wires exiting and reentering it. Most either glowed blue, green, or pink. Some were coppery colored tubes. Still others were just wires, coated in various colors. The casing itself was painted white, while the end of it, where the laser came out I assumed, was blackened. The port for the spark batteries was also blackened. Fallout Equestria: A Pony of a Different Color [link]

One of the most powerful laser-based magical energy pistols in the wastes. Tes' Custom Laser Pistol was made by Tesla Ampere, a slightly nerdy Stable pony and Xero's first companion.

Tesla, who goes by Tes, is an earth pony who used to work in Stable 59 as head of the Maintenance and Talisman Repair. She also was the lead engineer of alternative energy production. Stable 59, although technically closed, allows the inhabitants to leave freely (do to an even that happened 80 years prior) on the condition that they never return. They are able to bring what they can carry in two unenchanted saddlebags. One of the things Tes brought with her was her pistol, which she has yet to name.

The laser pistol is comprised of compressed laser rifle parts and magic laser cutter hardware. The weapon will shoot a constant stream of rainbow/polychromatic magic in a fine beam, allowing it to be swept across multiple enemies.

The gun has two modes; beam and charged. The beam mode is self-explanatory. The charged mode charges up a single blast, consuming the entire spark batteries and doing damage to the gun and targets relative to the remaining amount of charge on the cell. (10 remaining charges will do 2x the damage as 5 remaining charges).

Due to the weapon's pieced-together quality, it has a very low HP and must be repaired and cleaned constantly, or risk having an energetic meltdown. It also has a very inefficient ammo consumption, using up entire cells in seconds.
